PROFILE
Kra is a band from the PS COMPANY label that, although not as popular as some of their label-mates, has a loyal and enthusiastic fan base. Unlike many visual kei bands, Kra's music has a happier, more optimistic sound, which suits their light, colorful appearance quite well.

With an extensive discography and a side project called 36481?, they are continually giving listeners something new to hear and see.

BIOGRAPHY
Keiyuh (vocals), Mai (guitar), Yuhra (bass) and Yasuno (drums) formed Kra in August of 2001 with practically no experience whatsoever. As a new band, much of their performances took place at small events where they were given an opportunity to introduce themselves, and their sound, to seasoned audiences.

After the release of two demos, Hard Lolita and Brise, in 2002, and a steady increase in popularity, Kra signed with the label PS COMPANY. From here they released their first mini-album, Boku to no Himitsu in October.

This helped to jump start their career and in the next year they released four more mini-albums. They were also able to participate in larger events and performances including the legendary Beauti-Fool's Fest '03, which was organized by the magazine Fool's Mate and featured the bands deadman, D'espairsRay, lab., MUCC and Miyavi, among others.

Kra even has a small side project, an alter-ego band called 36481?, from which they covered songs by other PS COMPANY bands as well as their own. Aside from one maxi-single, Fiction, and some footage on Kra's Meisaku Gekijo DVD, this side project has been inactive as of late.

In 2005, Kra went on tour with the rest of the PS COMPANY bands for their massive Peace and Smile Carnival Tour, which was released as a very limited and highly sought after DVD.

Following label-mates Kagrra, and Miyavi, Kra went major in 2006. They celebrated with the release of a new single, Heart Balance, as well as a final indies tour and first major concert, which took place in December 2006 at C.C. Lemon Hall.

2007 has already been a productive year for the band. In March they released their long-awaited first full-length album, dhar.ma, and a DVD entitled COURT of JUSTICE, which was a live recording of their aforementioned first major live.

Their latest mini-album, Creatures, was just released and they will be a part of Zy magazine's 7th anniversary celebration, stylish wave ILLUSION '08, to be held January 19-20 of next year.
